Ticket to Ride : Nordic Countries

I really love the Ticket to Ride series. The gameplay is quick, easy-to-learn and everyone I've introduced the games to has thoroughly enjoyed them. It's becoming a cliche to call them gateway games but that's exactly what they are.

Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries is a brilliant new version of TtR. It's for 2-3 players and has an extremely cutthroat map. You can't help but cut off important routes that your opponent needs and this makes it a much more competitive version for a smaller number of players.

The components are excellent quality - as we've come to expect from Days of Wonder. The artwork has a very Christmassy feel - even the carriages on the train cards have a layer of snow on them!

If you regularly play TtR in larger groups then this won't be for you, but if you fancy a version of TtR that players well with 2 or 3 people then I thoroughly recommend Nordic Countries. I believe that Days of Wonder are only doing one print run as well, so it's worth snapping this one up while you can!
