Pitchcar

Great fun for all ages. A race track where you "flick" in subbuteo fashion your wooden "car" around a race track. Three laps determines a winner. More stock car than formula one as you can bounce into other people's cars if you wish.
The track pieces are extremely well-made (and heavy) and most of the track layouts easily fit onto the dining table. The crash barriers push into slots in the track to keep you on the straight and narrow.
You do need to play it on a table-top as a soild base keeps the track joints flush....important to stop pieces deflecting off track for the dog (or house rabbit in my case) to pursue!
