Players represent rival guillotine operators vying for the best collection of noble heads over three rounds. Each round, twelve nobles are lined up for the guillotine. The nobles are worth varying points, depending on their notoriety.

During your turn, you play action cards to change the order of the line so you can collect the best nobles. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

Will you be skilful enough to bribe the guards and collect Marie Antoinette? Or will you lose points for beheading the hero of the People?

A game for 2 to 5 players.

This is great fun, quick playing game. No real set up time and very quick to learn.

You have three days to execute as many high status nobles as possible. But beware because mixed in with these are some unfortunate souls and the hero of the people who you'll lose point for executing. Can you make the King trip and stumble to the front of the line so you can take his valuable head or will you have to make do with the lowly "piss boy".

I laughed so much my head nearly fell off!!

Excellent card game. Simple to learn as so much of the information is on the action cards. Took less than a minute to read the rules booklet.
You "squabble" as excecutioners (players) over who gets to excecute who in a line of 12 nobles (a days work)...each worth varying points (some negative....hero of the people etc). Three such days is a complete game.
Unusually for some card games it works very well for two players.
Loses 0.3 for having Robespierre as a +3 bad guy!! (read Mark Steel's "Vive La Revolution" for why he's really an inspirational hero type and therefore a -3!)
