Axis of Evil Pack (Rocketmen CSG)

From the makers of Heroclix and Pirates Constructable Card Game comes Rocketmen: Axis of Evil.

The beautifully designed and constructed rocketships and crew in Rocketmen have their own little world created for them in comic strips and video clips and this really helps to creat a flavour and backdrop for this customisable game.

Slightly more tactical and complex than Pirates, yet still very simple, this games puts you in mind of a turn based strategy game on a PC. Each ship in your fleet has a number of actions in which to move, manouver or fire etc. There are five planets from which to choose ships and crew that fight on two sides the Axis of Evil and the Rebels (good guys).

You take it in turns to use your actions to manouver into prime positions, shoot down the opposition and mine resources from a rougue asteroid and nearby microids with which to build extra ships from your reserve fleet.

Lots of ships and fun crew to make every game a different experience. The real beauty of the game is that you can play from a couple of boosters making it really cheap if your not collecting the whole set which has over 70 ships.

The only negative point is that putting the crew and weapon and shild 'pods' onto the ship can be a little tricky for those with poor dexterity, but thats a minor problem really. Give this game a go - ITS A BLAST!
