    Lost Cities Tournament

    Lost Cities Tournament.

I am putting together the first IGUK tournament, and thought that Lost Cities would be a good game to start it off with. The Brettspeilwelt game site has a copy of the rules, and can be used to play online. A link to the game is below.

    http://www.brettspielwelt.de/Spiele/LostCities/

I am suggesting that any body who wants to join up posts in this thread. I will leave entry open for 7 Days, then I will post the playing order.

Each match will consist of three games, with the score of each game being added together. This will make it a bit fairer, but you will have to do a little math.

    So for Example

    Game 1

    Player A : 50 points

    Player B :70 points

    Game 2

    Player A : 10 points

    Player B : 50 points

    Game 3

    Player A : 60 points

    Player B  : 50 points

    Total

    Player A 120 Points

    Player B 170 points

    So Player B would win.

Depending on numbers, we should be able to get through 1-2 matches a week, but if players a quick and have the time it may take less.

So reply to this thread with your Brettspeilwelt account name and lets see who can be can be crowned the IGUK Lost Cities Champion of 2007.

IGUK have kindly offered to put a prize up for the winner, so sign up.

If anyone needs help with the client, or wants a few practice games then PM me.

    Re: Lost Cities Tournament

You can change the language choice with a quick mod to the client.

There is a file in the following folder C:\Program Files\Brettspielwelt\ (If you used the default installation) called brettspielwelt.prop

Open this file in notepad and scroll down until you see the entry Nation. Change it to

    Nation = en

Save the file and reload the client. It should now run the client with an english interface.

    Remeber I need your
    brettspielwelt names as well.

    Thanks
