Anyone else got this game?
My copy came last week and its fantastic, played it 3 times so far on "easy" and only beated the game once.
Its a really good co-op game that gets you biting your fingernails as the diseases start outbreaking.

I'm just starting to find my way in the world of board games but I've heard of this on a podcast I listen to, so it's on my list.

What was the podcast?

Pandemic is a really good game, its co-op which makes a nice change. It gets a bit tense when the diseases start to spread but all in a great game.

The podcast was "Garrett's Games and Geekiness" in a recent 2-part episode where they were at a convention. I think that's where it came up. It's the only board gaming podcast I listen to at the moment, but only because it's the first I found! I was listening out for game names that pop up in conversations amongst enthusiastic sounding gamers so I could investigate them further.

Ah, try episode 116 and 117 from Kublacon perhaps.

The top two deal with all aspects of gaming while Meeples deals mainly with wargamming.

Give them a listen, you will get to listen to really good gaming reviews and info.

Thanks for the suggestions, CountZero. Funnily enough I just subscribed to The Dice Tower but I have yet to listen to the latest episode that I downloaded to try. I've added The Spiel and will give that a go. Not too sure if I'll try the Wargaming one you mention. I'll start slowly I think.
