I've played a couple of games on Yucata now...... I'd say this was 20% skill and 80% luck - anybody could win this one!!!!!!!

Sometimes the cards just come out right and it all goes to plan. Othertimes it all goes to pot.

Good to see a good turnout so far, new faces as well so the competition may start to get interesting.

Just found 4 invites, keep forgetting to scroll down when I check *rolls eyes* so I think I have no invites, oh well I've accepted them all now :)

the card spread generally ebbs & flows throughout a game, although you do very occasionally get games where you're only drawing the mid-range cards, which is a pretty difficult position to win from. It's an easy game when you draw all the high & low cards, I think the skill comes in making the best use of the mid-rank cards.

Sometimes the cards just come together, other times you just get bad card Karma and it falls appart.
The skill is in setting up the balloons for good and bad cards and your definately right about those horrid 6-7-8 mid range cards.

I will close of entries on the 15th of March and post the first round games on the 16th. So get practising, I know I need too.
