    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

I'll be there just as soon as MabiWeb stops playing up.

Are the IGUK crowd hitting the servers too hard ????

    countzero:
    Kiiro
    Jernau25
    Ian Butty
    Andolini
    Steve

So far this game has myself (IanButty), Jernau24 and "English_Bob" signed up for it.

Steve/Andolini - could you let me know which of you is English_Bob so that I can email the other to make sure they know they game is now live.

PS. I suspect the missing person is on holiday, but occasionally we all miss posts here and I just wanted to send a friendly email just in case they had missed it.

    Regards,

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

Steve is english bob. I have mailed Andolini earlier in teh week and had no reply.

The three outstanding players are i think

    Jonathan4
    Andolini
    Whitestone

Come on guys, get with it. If we don't hear anything from you by the end of next week we shall have to draft in another player and jig things around.

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

    Ok,

2 weeks and no show from these guys

    Jonathan4
    Andolini
    Whitestone

So, the game with 3 players just start if you can, not sure if I set the game up to be only 4 players. The other game with 2 players in, If anyone knows anyone who can fill it go for it. Bring it up to 3 players and lets just start the things going.

    Thanks

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

    CZ,

I have joined Ruko (as glwgardner), but it looks like it needs 4 players before we can begin unless the game creator has other options available.

    Thanks

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

I have had to recreate the Ruko and Kiiro games to allow them to start with 3 players.

Can you rejoin your respective games and start tehm off, we have a third player for the Ruko game.
    Sorry for the inconvenienc

    Thanks

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

    First result in.

    AKA -

1st - Steerpike with Two figure majorities

2nd- Harry the Line with a one figure majority

    3rd - Sid James with 7figs

    4th - Johnnyb with 3figs

A comparative rarity in Samurai the game actually ended with the four tied figures condition. Good game all, thanks a lot.

    SidJames: 0 - 7 - 7
    Steerpike: 2 - 1 - 9
    harry_the_lime: 1 - 5 - 8
    Johnnyb: 0 - 3 - 3

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

Yeah, start the games off when you get 3 players.

Steerpike through to the final, who else is going to make it?

    Re: Konichiwa - Samurai Tournament

gratz to all who pummelled me on AKA, I was a looonnnggg way behind.

I think I must be missing something in the rules tho - I don't understand why the game finished when it did - the rules say all of one type of piece must be captured or tied, but all three types are still on the board.  Can anyone enlighten me as to why it ended? I was expecting one or two more turns (not that that would have been any help to me).
