    Re: Schotten Totten

Hi CZ, my Yucata tag is, rather uninspired, simply "Jeff"!

I'm still battling it out with Neil H (currently one game apiece) in our second round games...

I've sent 3 invites to grimwold, will do the other 2 when these are done.

    Re: Schotten Totten

The Steerpike bandwagon came to a crashing halt today somewhere on the A9 between Inverness and Aviemore.

Every 50/50 decision made seemed to go the wrong way with the right card being picked up, just one draw too late, again and again.

Wee timerus beasties. [grumbles into whiskey]

    Dobbie 4 Steerpike 1

Seems I'll be taking the low road after all.

    Well played Dobbie !

Thanks for the games Steerpike, it was the opposite for me all my 50/50's went the right way.

    Adam8 3 - 2 Harry the Lime.

Adam wins a close contest with some outrageously fortunate card draws...

    thanx 4 games Adam!

    Re: Schotten Totten

Harry, not sure if you have done enough to secure victory. Johnnyb still has to play his games and if he wins all 5 he may just top the leaderboard.

    Re: Schotten Totten

I thought I was going to win a 4-1 right at the end and draw level with you on points but alas my luck ran out ;)

Thanks for the games Harry, it was good fun!

    Re: Schotten Totten

True, CZ - but then you're not paying attention to Jeff! If he does well against Neil, then he has a very real chance of taking victory - unless you suddenly improve greatly! ;0)

    Re: Schotten Totten

Jeff v Neil H (Second round result)

Jeff 1 Neil H 4 - Match report (with apologies to our Scottish friends)

Neil lures Jeff into claiming "first haggis" (as its known in some exclusive Schotten Totten circles) as Jeff takes the first game. But this only proved to be part of Neil's master plan as he proceeds to throw everything
(pummeling him with cabers, whiskey bottles, sporrans, deep fried Mars Bars etc) at Jeff in the next four games, thus claiming the tie 1 - 4 in his favour.

Very well played Neil and the best of luck (not that you'll need it!) to you your final round.
